My Pea Coat finally came in handy because today was a really cold day. So, I’m really happy that I bought it. Anyway, I made it to the Tower of London. It is ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE. There is just no other way to describe it, for me. I walked up on it from the Tower Hill Station and it just took my breath away. It was standing right in front of me and I didn’t even realize it. Sorry, but I didn’t get any pictures. Battery problems.
After leaving the tower, I headed to the Tower Bridge. I actually walked the whole length of the bridge. It was cold and the wind was blowing like mad. It was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. People were actually jogging across. It was truly a workout.
Once I got back to Tower Hill Station, I decided to head to The British Museum. So, I took the tube to Monument Station and interchanged with Bank Station. Then I rode through St. Paul’s, Chancery Lane, Holburn Stations and ended at Tottenham Court Road. Of course, there were no immediate signs for the museum, so I couldn’t find it. I just kept walking and walking and walking. It was great exercise so I didn’t mind but I had to ask 3 people for directions. Eventually I decided to give up and head back to Tottenham Court Road Station. When I got to the station I decided to try one more time. So I turned back on Bloomsbury Road and took the first left and finally I saw a sign.
The British Museum is HUGE and houses some great historical collections. From Egypt to Assyria and Greece. Anything I say wouldn’t do it justice so I’ll just let you see the pictures. I took alot.
When I left the museum, my busy and cold day turned into a Busy, Cold and Wet day. It was raining. Should I have expected that or should I just get used to it? Anyway, I made it back to the station and got home safely after getting dinner. It consisted of a Fish Roll (Mackerel) and some kind of fried bun (dessert). The fish roll was great, but the bun I could have passed on. I shared it with my roommates and they didn’t even like it either.
The rest of the night I’ll just chill because it is too cold to go outside. I hope yall like the pictures. Next week I’ll be trying to go to the British Embassy (update my national status), House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Wimbledon (maybe), Buckingham Palace, Camden Market, and St. James Park.

I could live at the British Museum ( at least for awhile). It is so fantastic. When you can, go back again.
